Established in May 2007, GCM Contractors was born from the vision of its founder and managing director, Gary McLaughlin, who after twelve years of senior management experience in the construction industry - the last eight of which were spent managing projects ranging between £3m and £10m - wanted to offer main contractors a fresh and alternative approach.

The Company is young and vibrant which makes it responsive, technologically astute, and passionate about delivering more than its competitors. Its structure is the catalyst behind its success, enabling the business owners to take a very hands-on approach. Clients’ needs are established, completely understood by everyone, and fulfilled in a refreshingly expedient and friendly way.

Having already established an exemplary integrated management system that controls all documentation and is accessible to onsite managers, the company aims to be ISO 9001 accredited by June 2010. All supervisors possess SMSTS training certification and the Company is also working towards its ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation.
